Explore San Francisco & Wine Country Like a Local
My San Francisco & Wine Country Pocket Guide, published under my pen name S. M. Weng, marked the beginning of my publishing journey in 2023. It was my first book in what eventually became a seven book collection, and the only title dedicated entirely to travel and local experiences.
At the time, I was still building my career as a San Francisco creator and influencer. I chose a pen name because I was new to publishing and had not yet established the public facing professional identity I have today. The name stayed as SincerelySusye grew into an established creator brand with its own digital authority. Eventually, all three identities received separate Google Knowledge Panels: Susye Weng-Reeder and SincerelySusye for my creator work, with classifications including Internet Personality and Content Creator (Travel), and S. M. Weng, recognized as an Author for my publishing work.
The guide itself grew naturally from my creator collaborations and firsthand experiences exploring San Francisco, Wine Country, and the greater Bay Area. Rather than featuring every business I worked with, I selected only the hotels, restaurants, attractions, and experiences I genuinely enjoyed and considered exceptional.
